The repositioning of a standalone bank building from a drive up teller and on site banking use to a commercial office being redeveloped for a tech and education company.
The entire interior of the structure was removed back to the studs, removal of the existing bank vault, re-leveling of the floor from water infiltration issues, rerouting of the existing mechanical systems as well as a new unit to accommodate the new office use. Closing and repurposing of the existing drive up teller areas, new full kitchen and shared open concept break area, reorientation of structural elements to create the new open and collaborative floor plan. Repurposing of the second floor offices into an open and lit stairwell and new executive offices for the growing tech company as well as a full upgrade to the existing restrooms, addition of the new restrooms and full ADA access upgrades. Repairs to the existing building envelope were made to create a better seal to the elements and give the building better drainage at the exterior.
